Lisa Davidson is an experienced counselor and behavioral health executive with over 10 years in various healthcare settings to include; inpatient residential treatment, intensive outpatient treatment, and detox level of care. Lisa holds a Master of Science degree in Psychology with a specialization in Addiction from Kaplan University. Lisa is a licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT-P) practitioner, EMDR trained, and SMART recovery certified. Lisa has developed and facilitated many co-occurring programs, and her training is in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. Lisa is passionate about helping others to reach their personal goals and improve the parts of their lives that cause them distress or pain. She believes in a trauma-informed approach to treatment and mental health in general. Lisa strives to create a safe, non-judgmental space for healing and recovery.

Lisa has worked a SMART program of recovery since 2005 and has years of experience with her own growth and healing. Through this, she has a passion to help others find their own path towards healing and a life of recovery. She utilizes various theoretical approaches to assist clients such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, and person-centered therapy.

Lisa is a wife and mother of a 16 year old son, Gabriel. She enjoys the relaxation of the outdoors, and spending time with her friends and family. She believes in the importance of balance between work life, recovery, and family. She hopes to continue being motivated, teachable and inspired every day, while also inspiring and empowering others.
