From Writing to Empowerment: The Evolution of My Career
I began my journey as a writer and university educator because I loved teaching writing and helping others to write well. As I moved along in my career, I began helping women reclaim their life by becoming empowered to succeed in their career and personal relationships and to get in touch with their Higher Self, the Self that loves them unconditionally.
Answering the Call: Deepening the Spiritual Journey
As my vision for my life evolved, I answered a call to deepen my own spiritual journey, so I attended Yale Divinity School and spent a couple of years as a chaplain. Then I realized my super power is coaching.
I use my spiritual and mentoring experience to help women feel empowered to make decisions that feed their soul, to enrich their personal relationships, and to choose a career that truly inspires them.
The Power of Emotional Intelligence: Transforming Lives from the Inside Out
Recognizing the immense power of emotional intelligence (EQ), I trained with Shirzad Chamine in 2023 to become a Positive Intelligence (PQ) coach, which really transformed me from the inside-out. Soon after, I started the podcast “Emotional Intelligence: Your Greatest Asset and Key to Success” to share proven strategies to develop the EQ and mental fitness that drives not just success but real happiness and joy.
Supporting Women in Recovery: A Path to Sobriety and Freedom
As a credentialed addiction recovery coach, I also work with women struggling with a drinking or drug problem and help them to achieve sobriety and recover from the deadly dis-ease of addiction.
Using my training as a spiritual companion, Reiki Master Teacher, and coach, I help women learn how to stay grounded, manage stress, develop the power to manage difficult emotions without using drugs and alcohol as coping mechanisms, and become the architect of their destiny. Freedom from addiction is the way to a life that works. Trust me.
