I’m Emily Redondo, a suburban oddball with four kids and a husband of 21 years. After far too many misadventures and bad decisions, I’m finally living the dream of an ordinary life here in McKinney, Texas.
I write about real life from curiosity’s perspective. In my younger years, writing gave me permission to say the quiet parts out loud and express my innermost thoughts and feelings. As I got older, it became a means for survival because a blank page will always listen no matter how lost or lonely we feel. For the last ten years, writing has grown into a creative outlet where I can privately dig into deeper understanding what it means to be human in the age of polarizing opinions and digital excess. I’m a mother, daughter, wife, sister, author, advocate and friend, but I simply call it Me.
